Please stop slaying on red carpet - Yvonne Nelson tells Ghana movie industry stars

Ghanaian actress and film-maker, Yvonne Nelson has lamented over the state of Ghana's movie industry and call on Ghanaian actors to limit the amount of time they spend on fashion and slaying and the red carpet and focused on the movie industry.

This comes after last Saturday's Golden Awards ceremony which was held in Movenpick Hotel in Accra, Ghana.

Yvonne Nelson in a series of tweets criticize the industry stars on how they are letting the movie industry to fall and instead focus on slaying on red carpets. 

She also blast the organizer and Director of the Golden Movie Awards ceremony, Mimi Andani.

However fellow actress and fashion icon, Nana Akua Addo has taken a swipe at Yvonne Nelson by condemning her sense of fashion.

The fashion icon, Nana Addo further said Yvonne Nelson should put he long legs to good use by changing herself to become appropriate on the red carper. 

She said that slaying on the red carpet is now part of the fashion industry so Yvonne Nelson had to join the trending styles or watch from outside as commentator. 

Yvonne Nelson responded to Nana Addo comment by indicating that her post was not meant for the shallow minds.
