President Buhari to meets with 36 states governors of the country

President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari will with all the 36 states governors on Friday 25, 2017.

The President is meeting with all the governors of the state in different political parties as part of moving the country in unity.

The news was disclosed by the President's Personal Assistant on Media, Bashir Ahmad through his Twitter handle @BashirAhmaad

The statement said, "After meeting with leadershhip of the APC and PDP, President Buhari will later meet with governors of the 36 states of the federation."

The President has already had a meeting with the leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All progressive Congress (APC).

Different governors have reacted to the meeting with the President and express their delight at coming together irrespective of the political party.

Governor of Ekiti State, Governor Ayodele Fasyose is the only absentee in the 36 states governors with the President.

Fayose had earlier vowed that he will not visit Buhari, and he was not seen as the rest of the 35 governors visit the President.

The Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo was also in attendance as the President host the states governors.
