Ronaldo sent off against Barcelona for diving

Real Madrid  attacker, Cristiano Ronaldo was sent off after he came off the bench to score Madrid second goal to help beat Barcelona 3:1 in the Spanish Super Cup first leg at the Camp Nou.

Gerard Pique score own goal to give Real Madrid the lead before Lionel Messi equalized with a penalty.

Ronaldo was booked after removing his shirt during celebration and was shown the second yellow card shortly, for diving, after he went down during a battle with Barcelona defender Samuel Umiti.

Cristiano Ronaldo appeared to push the referee in the back after he was shown the red card, meanwhile Barcelona seems to struggle without Neymar who moved to Paris Saint Germain this summer for a world record fee.

Ronaldo came on as a substitute and score a nice goal to take the lead for the Spanish and European Champion before being sent off and Marco Asensio score to make 3:1 in favor of Real Madrid.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane react to the forward being sent off, which he describe the decision as being harsh.

Real Madrid and Barcelona will play the second leg of the Spanish Super Cup on Wednesday at the Santiago Bernabeu.
