Wladimir Klitschko retires from professional boxing

Former world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko has retired from professional boxing after a rematch with Anthony Joshua was set.

The 41-year-old was knocked by current champion Anthony Joshua in the 11th round st Wembly in April.

Klitschko was supposed to sign a rematch clause with Anthony Joshua before he announce his retirement, the fight was schedule to hold on 11 November.

Wladimir Klitschko held the world heavyweight champion two times, held the unified title from 2006 to 2015 before losing to Tyson Fury, he ends his illustrious career with a record 64 wins and lost five times.

Klitschko speak of his retirement, he said: "I have achieved everything I dreamed of and now I want to start my second career sports"

"I would have never imagined that I would have such a long and incredible successful boxing career"
